I was in the house i was grown up in, my grandmother, my mother, my dog pogo, and me were there like the house looked like the old house looked like i was back in Nigeria but seemed not the case because i saw my Indian classmate Himani whom i met in India recently and we weren't even close but in the dream it felt like we were best friends because a strange two ladies whom i have never seen in my whole life were talking to my mom and grandmother and Himani my supposed best friend was talking with two guys whom again i have never seen in my life but hey i don't even remember how they looked when i woke up. The both guys were tall, charming, handsome with muscles and i was attracted to the taller one, the one who had broad shoulders and Himani was talking to them so i tried making him look towards me and so i tried bending down to pick up something and i felt he did look at him, i then carried some center fresh chewing gum and headed outside because he wasn't looking at me, but here it is, i went outside and the outside scenario of my house was not of Nigeria it was of India. As i was running Himani stopped me and told me to come back the guys wants to talk to you and as we went back inside the two guys had removed their shirt and we went with them, we were playing chase and we entered a person's house and the guys told us to not destroy this place with water but we didn't listen until an old divine man came and called the guys(names i don't remember) and he gave them a boon that old divine man was RISHI MAHARSHI the great divine sage. And after that all of a sudden the guy i got attracted too brushed my hair off my face with his fingers and then i tied him a red thread and when he was doing the same a girl comes and i have never seen her in my life either, she comes and tells him to tie it on my right hand not left and when he was doing it she takes the thread and starts to tie it on my hand herself and then i tell her how i don't have a sister but she made me feel like she was my sister and i don't remember if i ever had the thread tied but then some people came and she dragged me towards home and i turned back to look at that guy, the guy whom i fell in love with, we were looking at each other as the distance kept increasing and then suddenly i was back in the house and i saw no one except my mom, my grandmother and my dog pogo who was eating ice cream and when i asked my mom where the ladies went they said they went home. I looked around and there was no Himani, no that sister, or anyone. I then started playing with Pogo my dog. Now to reality when i woke up i felt the hurt and separating from him, it was like i wanted to know his name, i wanted to be with him, i could still feel his fingers brushing the hair off my face.
Dreams often serve as reflections of our subconscious feelings, desires, and experiences. Your dream is rich with imagery and symbolizes various elements that could represent your emotional landscape.
Setting: The juxtaposition of your childhood home and the Indian context could symbolize a blend of your past and present identities. It might point to a sense of nostalgia, longing for familiarity, or a desire to reconcile different aspects of your life.
Family and Companionship: Your grandmother, mother, and dog Pogo represent foundational relationships, comfort, and unconditional love. In times of change or transitions, these figures may symbolize the stability you seek.
Himani and Friendship: The presence of your Indian classmate, whom you felt close to in the dream, suggests a longing for connection and friendship. This may express your desire to cultivate new relationships or strengthen existing ones.
Attraction to the Guys: Your attraction to the tall, charming man represents not just romantic interest, but possibly your desires for companionship, connection, and adventure. The fact that you were trying to capture his attention reflects your longing for recognition and acceptance in social settings or romantic pursuits.
The Red Thread: The act of tying a red thread could symbolize a bond or connection, often associated with protection, love, and commitment in various cultures. The confusion around this thread, and the girl who intervened, may symbolize insecurities about relationships or a sense of community and shared connections.
The Rishi Maharshi: The divine sage appearing in your dream may represent spiritual guidance, wisdom, or a deeper understanding of yourself. His presence could imply that you are seeking clarity or direction in your life, especially regarding relationships.
Separation and Longing: The ending of the dream emphasizes themes of separation and loss as you looked back at the guy you were attracted to, feeling a sense of connection that was fading. This might mirror feelings in your waking life related to unresolved emotions or unfulfilled desires for closeness with someone.
Playfulness with Pogo: Returning to your dog suggests comfort, loyalty, and a sense of home. In times of complex emotions, it’s often the simpler, unconditional loves (like the love from a pet) that can provide solace and grounding.
Overall, this dream may reflect your longing for connection, the interplay of different phases in your life, and your exploration of your feelings related to relationships, attraction, and identity. It also signifies a quest for emotional fulfillment and joy amidst the complexities of interactions and transitions. Consider how these themes may relate to your waking life as you navigate new relationships or experiences.
